Network Marketing Success:

Transform Yourself Into A Copywriting Machine

If you want to be a network marketing success, then you’ll need to transform yourself into a lethal copywriting machine. I was at the Live The Dream network marketing event at Disney World last week and listened to presentations from some of this industries most successful people. Many of these people have overcome personal setbacks such as bankruptcies, substance abuse, job layoffs and so forth before succeeding in network marketing. Brain Fanale, co-founder of My Lead System Pro, in just a few short years has transformed his life to become a true leader. He has developed his copywriting skills to the point where he is a sought after for his ability to put words on a page that motivate people to take action. Here are some of the tips, strategies and suggestions that Brian hit upon in his speech.

Network Marketing Success:

“Left Brain Larry” and “Right Brain Ruby”

Brain explained in his presentation that you want your words to be seen and felt, not just heard. He explains that our brains are wired with the digital, logical and linear left brain and the visual, emotional and creative right brain and that in order to influence people we must persuade both hemispheres. We have to convince both Left Brain Larry and Right Brain Ruby in order to persuade others.

To better illustrate this Brian provided many examples. Here are a few of the examples that he gave:

Instead of saying: “Improve your marketing skills to convert prospects into customers” he suggests saying “transform yourself into a lethal prospecting, recruiting, sponsoring machine in just 68 minutes.” Do you see the difference? The first one is lifeless and not compelling and the other gets you to stand up and take notice.

Brain explains to use action words such as “lethal, jaw dropping, monster or ninja” that evoke certain emotions that excite people.

Here are a few more examples he gave:

Instead of saying “fill out the form below” say “it’s as simple as filling out the form below and the pot of gold is waiting for you on the next page.”

Instead of saying “I’ll help you learn how to make money online” say “It’s a dog-eat-dog, cut-throat jungle out there if you want to make money online, but I’ll be your trustworthy tour guide.”

Instead of saying “without leads your business will go nowhere” say “without leads you’re dead in the water. It’s like trying to survive without oxygen.”

Brain explains that you need to get real with your prospects. He stressed that we need to pepper our sales copy with statements such as:
“The hair on my neck stood up!”
“My heart literally stopped!”
“If you’re anything like me.”
“Trust me, I’ve been there.”

Start Telling Stories

Brian explains that people are searching for leaders who are going somewhere and making it happen. He talks not just about unique selling points (USP), but emotional USP that gets people motivated. Emotional USP creates a powerful bond with prospects and they will think of you as their only possible source to solve their problems.

The Truth Is That People Don’t Really Care About You.

When you’re beginning a letter or even a video, don’t lead with yourself. People don’t care. Instead of saying “Hi I’m …. from …. and I’m here to help”
say “I know you’re here to get ….and that’s exactly what I’m giving you. I’m here to help…my name is X. Brian suggests that we keep ourselves out of the picture until the end in order to engage not only Right Brain Ruby, but convince Left Brain Larry. We have to hit Ruby hard with statements such as: “What’s it cost to move forward?” What’s it cost if you don’t?”

Cicero, (106 – 43 B.C.) the great Roman philosopher, orator and statesmen said “If you wish to persuade me you must speak my words, think my thoughts and feel my feelings.” Brian Fanale is a true role model to any of us who strive to make it to the top of this profession.
