SEO Networker 3.0:
Solo Ads Crash Course
SEO Networker 3.0 is a search engine optimization course created by Raymond Fong and Ferney Ceballos. In 2008 when Google essentially closed the door on internet marketers using Adwords, the game changed overnight. Now with all of Googles ongoing algorithm adjustments what is actually required today to get your blog ranked? Ray and Ferney have released a series of free videos as part of their prelaunch in preparation for their SEO Networker 3.0 release in late November 2011. This review is my third in a series outlining Ray and Ferney’s approach to SEO and why you should pay attention.
SEO Networker 3.0 : Solo Ads Crash Course
Solo Ads are a form of advertising where you pay someone else to email your offer to their subscriber list. You are essentially leveraging somebody elses relationship and reputation by borrowing their list. Solo Ads are a medium level traffic source that has both their positive and negative attributes.

The positives include:
- Most people are curious so they may open the email to check out your offer.
- Opt-in rates are generally good.
- The cost per lead is usually pretty low.
The negatives include:
- While opt-ins are good, conversion rates tend to be low.
- Not all lists are properly targeted to your offer.
- It’s hard to build up your own credibility with one email blasted to somebody elses list.
How To Get Started:
Where to find a list. Solo Ads vary in cost, quality and the size of the list. Some list owners offer a single blast email and others may offer a package with various options. A couple of good sources for Solo ads are: JV Rocket.com, Arcomax.com and the Solo Ad Directory.com.
Come up with a compelling offer. Always use a capture page so that you get the leads first. Then offer lower end products to increase opt-ins and help cover the cost of the ad. Once you get the lead then you can start developing your own relationship with your subscriber list and then upset them down the road.
Draft appropriate copy. Copywriting is king here. It’s a good idea to talk to the list owner to determine the best tone for your ad and obviously your copy tone will be totally different based on the demographics. The take home message is to know your market here.
SEO Networker 3.0 : Solo Ads Crash Course
Ray and Ferney in their SEO Networker 3.0 don’t cover this material because the focus of the course is on how to generate leads organically through search engine optimization practices. Ray and Ferney highly recommend Daegen Smith as being the king of Solo Ads and they suggested that if you are interested in developing a Solo Ad campaign that Daegan Smith would be a good person to contact. He might even be able to offer pointers to improve your success rate. Because of both the positive and negative attributes of Solo Ads they are only considered a medium level traffic source, but one definitely worth exploring.
P.S. If You Don’t Have a Step-By-Step Blueprint For Success then CHECK THIS OUT (Unless You Already Have Too Many Leads).
P.P.S. CONTACT ME here if you are ready to get started or have questions. I will get back to you within 24-hours. Promise.
