The Numis Network: An Opportunity Who’s Time Is Ripe

The Numis Network

The reason I joined the Numis Network was to become associated with a vibrant business opportunity where I have the potential to build a home based business and fulfill my desire of becoming financially independent. I have also been a numismatist for about ten years ago when I noticed that the price of gold was starting to climb. The beauty of coins, their potential as a storehouse of wealth and my interest in a home-based business made the Numis Network a logical choice.

Numismatics is an interesting hobby. Coin collectors will tell you not to buy coins as an investment, because markets are fickle and prices could rise, but then again they may not. So the reason to collect coins should be simply to enjoy the persuit of the hobby. Grading and understanding the value of coins is tricky and subject to interpretation. Even experienced numismatists have a hard time determining the grade and thus value of coins. Even if you purchase coins from a reputable dealer you need to very cautious.

Numismatics for the amateur became a little bit easier in the late-1980′s when coin grading services were established to grade coins and then encase (slab) them to protect and make them tamper proof. Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) was founded in 1986 and Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) was founded in 1987. At first they graded and slabbed older coins and then eventually they started slabbing modern coins as well. The US Mint creates “uncirculated” coins and “proof” coins that caters to the growing interest in coin collecting, but PCGS and NGC offer their third party services so that you’ll know exactly what you’re buying and you can feel safe in buying coins site unseen.

The price of gold in 2000 was between $250-300 an ounce whereas today the price is in the mid-$1600′s. Many people believe that as the world economy continues to falter and governments react by excessive borrowing that the price of gold will continue to climb. Similarly the price of silver has risen from under $5 an ounce in 2000 to over $30 as of October 2011. These markets are very volatile, but the overall trend is bullish and gold and silver, as an investment, has outperformed Wall Street by a long shot in the past ten years. Many people are starting to see gold and silver as a viable investment option and a true hedge against reckless spending by many governments around the world.

The Numis Network

So what does the Numis Network have to do with all of this? Its pretty simple actually. By becoming a distributor for Numis I can purchase graded and slabbed gold and silver coins with the potential of interesting others in buying coins and/or pursuing the business opportunity aspects. So I was interested in a home based business and like so many other people, the direction to turn is in network marketing. The Numis Network is the only network marketing company selling coins. There are lots of successful muti-lvel marketing companions around today, but I’m not interested in promoting juices, or vitamins, or beauty products or vacations or even financial education. The resale value of unsold vitamins is close to nothing, but with Numis you don’t have to continuously buy coins and even if you do decide to join the coin of the month club, the coins will retain their value and potentially the prices could appreciate. Numis even offers a buy-back option after five years and the purchase of coins is considered a business investment and thus is deducible as a business expense.

So the Numis Network is really an opportunity that is ripe for our times. Even if everything fails, nobody will get stuck with products that have little market value. After all I’d rather have a garage full of silver and gold than garage full of vitamins and juices. Wouldn’t you?
